May 22, 2025 — The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation has earned international recognition after its mission video won three Silver Telly Awards at the prestigious 2024 Telly Awards. The video, originally produced by Public Interest Registry (PIR) for the 2024 .ORG Impact Awards, was honored in the categories of Social Responsibility, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and Craft – Use of Remote Production.

The Telly Awards, which received over 13,000 entries from around the world, celebrate excellence in video and television production across all platforms. This triple award highlights the Foundation’s impactful storytelling and its dedication to ensuring that no Filipino child is left behind, no matter how remote their community.

The video’s compelling narrative was brought to life by Sugarman Productions, with direction and on-location filming by Lawrence Agustin and Fou Arakama of Game Night Production Company. Their work captured the spirit of bayanihan—the Filipino tradition of communal unity—and the hopes of children in last-mile communities striving to access education.

Megan Waters, Director for Community Engagement and Marketing at PIR, expressed her admiration for the achievement, stating, “This is an incredible honor and speaks not only to the video but to the impact of your work.” Since its inception, the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation has been driven by two core beliefs: that “all it takes to change the world is for one person to care,” and that “every great story begins when someone decides to care.” These principles continue to inspire the Foundation’s efforts to provide safe transportation and educational opportunities to children in hard-to-reach areas of the Philippines.

The Foundation also extended heartfelt thanks to its volunteers, donors, partners, and Hope Paddlers nationwide and beyond, recognizing them as the true heart behind every yellow boat built and every child supported. As the Foundation celebrates this remarkable milestone, it emphasizes that hope is more than just a message—it is a movement. With global attention now focused on their work, the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation encourages everyone to keep paddling forward, spreading hope and change.
