MANILA, Philippines – The province of Iloilo holds a large share of the Western Visayas vote, hosting around 1.6 million voters, based on 2022 estimates from the Commission on Elections.
There are at least 450,000 residents in Iloilo City, according to the 2020 national census, and a majority of them voted for the tandem of Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan against the Uniteam banner of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte in 2022.
